Michael Jackson - One More Chance (Paul Oakenfold Remix)

5 years ago, Michael Jackson released "One More Chance" as the single to support his eleventy-billionth compilation, Number Ones. I had never been more disappointed by a MJ release when I heard it. On first listen, it sounded completely bland and uninspiring. Say what you want about R. Kelly, but he's written much better songs. Thankfully, I soon heard the Paul Oakenfold remix. Wow! Talk about a change for the better! The remix really moves the song along. dancing jig Oakenfold completely transformed a so-so, plodding song into a new anthem. Does anyone else love this remix as much as I do?

I LOVE THIS REMIX! heart Waaaay better than the original. The normal version sucks tbh, Paul Oakenfold gave it a little oomph. lol

did justin really sing backup?

Oh and this version always made me think of breakfast commercials like shreddies for some reason, not sure why...

It sounds almost the same to me.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

Am I the only fan who actually really dug this song in it's original form?

I wish he'd finished the video. The still from it looked very suave:

One More Chance (R. Kelly Remix)

I prefer the Oakenfold remix. The R. Kelly remix is fine during the verses, but I don't like the chorus.

Oh my God I can honestly say I actually like this song now thanks to that remix. The original is just blah. It's amazing what a slight re-mix will do
