This is one of those songs that I like appreciate solely because of the nostalgia factor It reminds me of the late 70s,my favorite era for music, but I think the song itself is kinda annoying. Each guy sings the exact same verse...
take my hand come with me baby to loveland Let me show how sweet it could be sharing your love with me I like the music alot more than the lyrics. . [Edited 11/17/08 5:41am]

[Edited 11/17/08 5:41am] I always crack up when they introduce themselves; "My name is Larry... " I think everybody cracked up and had fun with this song, We lip-sync that song one year in a school talent show, we all wore Leisure suits. I wore a powder or baby blue color with a Ike like jacket, my tight, rose tinted shades, silk shirt w/a butterfly collar and platform shoes.. ..and it seemed everybody and their momma, wanted to sing the Larry part of the song listed up above.

I love this cut, and a whole bunch of other Floaters cuts too for that matter It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I've always been so mad that there wasn't a Scorpio in the group. The song is good, nonetheless. "Float On" sounds a lot like "Oh Honey" by the Delegation when it first comes on.

What else can I say? I LOVE this song, too---and I have to agree, the intros are the best. I still sing along when I hear it on some oldies show! Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.
