Depeche Mode - Music For The Masses Album - The Celebration thread One of the finest albums of the 80's. Jamming to it now. Full of those kind songs I love. I think it's the first of their classic trilogy (this one, violator and Songs of love in devotion...)
The Goth/Film noir feel is delish... And Route 66 is the best b-side ever! 1. "Never Let Me Down Again" – 4:47 2. "The Things You Said" – 4:02 3. "Strangelove" – 4:56 4. "Sacred" – 4:47 5. "Little 15" – 4:18 6. "Behind the Wheel" – 5:18 7. "I Want You Now" – 3:44 8. "To Have and to Hold" – 2:51 9. "Nothing" – 4:18 10. "Pimpf" – 5:25 STRANGELOVE NEVER LET ME DOWN AGAIN BEHIND THE WHEEL ROUTE 66 (B-Side) LITTLE 15 MOONLIGHT SONATA (Instrumental B-Side) Edit of the documentary of the DVD reissue:

This the album where I really discovered how GOOD Depeche Mode really is. I ran out and purchased all of thier cd's after hearing this one. I've been digging them ever since. [Edited 11/14/08 13:05pm]

I love it. But I love it more because it was my introduction to the band and has some of my favorite songs on it. But as a full album, I think that they have many that are better. From that same era of their sound and development, I find Some Great Reward and Black Celebration much more enjoyable. The singles and "Nothing" are all ace though.
