BRITNEY ON BRITNEY: Britney Spears is set to play herself in a movie based on the pop star's dramatic life.

Britney Spears is set to star in a film based on the pop star's controversial - and often dramatic - life.

The Womanizer singer will relive some of the most traumatic events in her life - including her breakdown earlier this year, which saw her lose custody of her two sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two - for the biopic, which is being made by British director Phil Griffin.

A source said: “It’s the film everyone will be queuing to see. It will be dark and gritty - charting Britney’s devastating falls including her traumatic custody battle for her two children.

“Let’s just say it will not be for the faint-hearted. But it will also show the highs along her incredible life journey.”

Although filmmakers were initially concerned Britney - whose father Jamie is still acting as co-conservator of her estate following her breakdown - might not be strong enough to revisit her past troubles, the 26-year-old singer is said to be keen to star in the project.

The source added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: "If anything it will be cathartic for Britney. She has been through so much and is finally back to her best.

"This will be her ultimate chance to prove to the world she’s still got it."

Britney’s new album Circus will be released next month, followed by a world tour to promote it.

Earlier this month, it was claimed Britney’s mother Lynne Spears was in talks to make her tell-all book about her daughter into a film.

Britney was said to be furious Anna Faris was being lined up to play her in the big screen version of revealing tome Through The Storm.

Lynne is keen for Julia Roberts to portray her in the movie.







Britney Re-records "Baby One More Time" With Max Martin

It's only appropriate that Britney rehearses in front of a mirror - reflecting back upon her her 10 successful years in the industry. Last Thursday marked the ten year anniversary of "Baby One More Time," Britney's first single released on October 23, 1998. Enjoy the classic, because this time around Britney is trading in her signature pigtails for something a little more... adult.

According to an insider at the International Dance Studio, the dance complex Britney has spent several weeks in rehearsing for her upcoming performances and world tour, Britney is practicing a dance routine for a new version of "Baby One More Time."

The insider reveals exclusively to BreatheHeavy.com that Britney has once again teamed up with pop-music writing mastermind Max Martin ("Baby One More Time," "Oops!.. I Did It Again) for the new track, and has re-recorded her vocals with an urban twist, but still "keeping the same feel to it." The newly amped up "Baby One More Time" song, renamed to "One More Time," is a 10th anniversary mix.

"[The song] is for an upcoming concert performance to promote her new album," says the source. "It is likely that this could be a bonus track on her upcoming CD."

"The track sounds hot," the IDA insider continued. "A lot more mature than the original, and very modern."

"Womanizer," Britney's new single off Circus, marks her second #1 off the Billboard Hot 100, an astounding ten years after "Baby One More Time" was certified in the top spot.

Beyonce's overexposing herself (like she always does) with I Am Sasha Fierce (I still can't believe she's serious with that shit) so Britney is going to have move past her first. But considering the media's love affair with Britney Spears, who knows.

I think the Britney album will do similar business that Blackout and In the Zone did, i do think she will continue a very strong euro following which she has over the rest of females at this point sans Madonna. I think she will have more singles and be more accessible this time around which can only help.

Honestly i like Beyonce but after hearing this album, there is nothing that really stands out as being another single that could continue the records strength for her. As for Britney she is on more of a roll of doing good albums, from "Britney" to "In the Zone" to the "B in the Mix" to "Blackout" shes had a good run of albums that were good listens for the most part
