Who did a better version of Come Together? Diana Ross or Michael Jackson? I purchased the expanded edition of Everything Is Everything (don't ask why...I liked the cover...). I never considered Diana Ross that special (for me she was just a good singles artist),but I was so wrong. After that there I went searching the web for the most diana songs I can find.
Well about the beatles cover. Diana wons it. Sorry Mike, but Diana wins this baby... (On a side note...diana also covered Smile in her second self-titled album...Mike copying miss ross?)  | |

Thanks, Mike. Diana´s version´s cool, too. I don´t know which one I like better. It could have been a bit shorter though. Diana's is kinda "just okay"... Michael's was kick ass.
But remember, Michael didn't record it until he owned it! 
I like how you can see Sean Lennon in this, too! Must have been cool to hear his Dad's music sung by the biggest star on the planet at the time... |

Michael's version is, like, childhood revisited for me. So I choose that.
Me and my siblings used to sit around the house on weekend afternoons watching the Moonwalker VHS tape. And I remember that song would come on near the end of the tape. We wore that tape OUTTT. | |

Did a KICK ASS version I forgot about that. They also did great versions of "I Wanna Take You Higher" and "Honky Tonk Women". Ike and Tina were like the Isley Brothers. They did covers that made you forget about the original song.
