Blackstreet: "No Diggity" vs. New Edition: "Hit Me Off" vs. Keith Sweat: "Twisted" BLACKstreet - No Diggity
vs. New Edition - Hit Me Off vs. Keith Sweat - Twisted Battle of the fall of 1996 uptempo anthems. All three of these songs were top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and hit #1 on the Billboard Hot HipHop/R&B charts in the fall of 1996. I remember all these songs being out like it was yesterday... A dude brought this up at work, I voted for "Hit Me Off", but we just did an official poll at work, and "No Diggity" won by a landslide. Who are y'all going with?

That is totally my era of music. I loved all 3.
I think "No Diggity" has had the most longevity after TWELVE (!) years.

I agree about "No Diggity". That song gets the young and old on the floor. I love seeing 60 year olds try to "back it up". It is definitely a funny site. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I love all three, but I'd have to say "Hit Me Off" is my least favorite. As for #1, it's tough...
I think I'll go with "Twisted," but it's awfully close. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I want to say "Hit Me Off" is my personal favorite actually. You would sooner catch me listening to that.

Keith Sweat - "Twisted"
Blackstreet - "No Diggity" (I don't really see the similarities between the above two songs, however) New Edition - "Hit Me Off"

No diggity by default but that album was the best of the three imo. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

omg I looooved all of these in eighth grade and had all their albums though I ended up getting rid of them
I think No Diggity is the most remembered of them all though, I ended up keeping the blackstreet album longest.
