PricelessHo said: Harlepolis said: PriclessHo could give you a detailed account on the Mariah thing btw because I'm sure I missed out on alot of stuff. what's been said that aguilera basically showed up unannounced to a private party mariah was throwing, and was miserably drunk that she was behaving very inapproprietly and with no respect to the host nor the people, apparently thinking she could get away with it, and that its gotten even worse when there was a good amount of vomiting taking place so seeing she's gotten into a very bad shape, mariah asked her people to take care of her, so they did what they had to do, and the next she knew she was in a car. taken back home. apparently her ego got bruised and she started acting up, trying to spin the story as if mariah was the bad guy, then showed up at some tv show and was like "I forgive Mariah Carey" of course mariah wouldn't let her have her way so she faxed in a statement the very next day saying: "It is in my heart to forgive and I will keep her in my prayers" alrighty then.

We talk about Christina being an image robber, but Madonna's whole career is based on the many stars that became before her.

I don't compare Lady GaGa to X-tina at all. In fact, who she REALLY is molded after is a combination of Dale Bozzio (Missing Persons) and Terri Nunn (Berlin). THAT'S WHO SHE'S COPIED!

Once again ANOTHER made up rivalry by the media of two artists that have NOTHING in common but there blonde hair. I heard a comparison the other day of Lady Gaga in a comment to a backstage picture of her from the z100 concert, they said she looked like Paris Hilton and Amy Whinehouse had a child. Her and xtina have nothing in common. My guess is now every female that does a dance track is gonna be compared to Lady Gaga like she invented dance music? too bad her style is a mix of Teri Nunn/Dale Bozzio/Debbie Harry and a few others all mixed together. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

knowing Beyonce, she won't let Xtina win this one either "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

you know what the funniest part about Xtina's comment is for me?
that she's questioning whether GaGa is a man or a women when she knows damn well that everyone was saying that Christina herself looked like a hot tranny mess for a few years.

TS Eliot
One of the surest tests [of the superiority or inferiority of a poet] is the way in which a poet borrows. Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal; bad poets deface what they take, and good poets make it into something better, or at least something different. The good poet welds his theft into a whole of feeling which is unique, utterly different than that from which it is torn; the bad poet throws it into something which has no cohesion. A good poet will usually borrow from authors remote in time, or alien in language, or diverse in interest. You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

[Edited 11/14/08 15:25pm] Don't forget she stole her early image directly from Cyndi Lauper too. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”
