The horn arrangment in the middle section is THE SHIT!
The edit of this track on "Slaughters Big Ripoff" is LAME! It fades out just when it's getting close to the good part! This song always gets jammed in my sets

_ Yeah, this song is a great example of the sound quality making a difference to the overall quality of the song itself. I usually listen to this song off the CD "Motherlode" on my stereo, tho I haven't listened to in quite awhile. I was recently listening to Pandora & this song came up & the sound quality was coming in so good that it reminded me why I liked it so much. When I posted this thread, this was the best version offa youtube that I could find, & I still don't think it sounds as good as what I hear when this song really gets me jamming. One of James Brown's funkiest not to mention one of my faves of his tunes ever. | |
