The headstock doesn't resemble a Fender headstock, and it has neither P-bass or J-bass mics. The knob placement is also not Fender-like.

So, as far as I can tell, it's not a Fender

that's a pretty tough one. It's not a fender, yamaha, music man or lakland...

gotta be some really expensive boutique brand

It looks like a custom-build, to me (as does the guitar).
