How is that album? I been seeing that pop up on every top albums list and I'm curious. Anyway, I would start off my JB collection with the Star Time box set from 1991. That is just a killer set. Also, check out The Payback album from 1973 because that album has some hypnotic grooves and it is probably one of his most cohesive. If you want to hear a live performance, check out the deluxe edition of Live at the Apollo Vol. II. Check me out and add me on:

If you want to hear a live performance, check out the deluxe edition of Live at the Apollo Vol. II. well its the only album i own. but i think its great , it pretty much shows his capabilitys as a live performer. with early hits suchs as try me , and night train. he was just as good live as on cd. he had a great band to back him up. and this album pretty much shows why he was one of the greatest showmen / performers ever | |
