TROOP Appreciation Thread

I'm a big fan of this group. They had so many smooth R&B ballads back in the day. music Any other fans?

Sweet November (Very nice song)

I Will Always Love You (My most favorite song by them)

All I Do Is Think Of You (The remake of a J5 song)

Spread My Wings (Written by Chucki Booker. Love this song, love the video, love the choreography.)

Still In Love (Heard this song at the grocery store last week and almost had a heart attack. lol)

I love Troop (although I have always refused to write it in all caps)! I've said it before, but I think their covers of "All I Do Is Think of You" and "Sweet November" are better than the originals, which is very high praise from me.

Can't believe y'all didn't post these two:

I'm biased I slightly prefer the J5 version, Sweet November they can claim. razz A lot of people that heard all i do is think of you by troop didnt even know it was a cover. I think it does matter which version you heard first. Michael's vocals get the slight edge since he laid the blueprint there vocally for them.

I was one of those that heard the Troop version first, so that's the version I fell in love with. Maybe that does have something to do with it, but Troops is just betta than the original overall. You're right, Michael's vocals are great ofcourse. wink

I forgot about B5's version lol

Troop was nice. 'Spread My Wings' and 'I Will Always Love You' were the sh1t. I wasn't a fan of their Deepa album tho...it sounded like a broke mans Michael Jackson's "Dangerous" album. The "Attitude" album on the other hand was great.
