I love them all!

Genie 2.0 us great

Keeps gettin' better is ok!

Dynamite is pure 80's

You Are What You Are (Beautiful) is the best re-version of a song I ever heard! It the fiercest and darkest pop song ever! [Homophobic remarks snipped - June7] THE BEST WANNABE GOLDFRAPP SONG EVER!

Gotta agree, just got advance promos of this, Guns and Beyonce's cd(standard version). Alot of people when they heard Xtina was doing re-worked versions of "Beautiful" and "genie and bottle" they got all pissed like she was messing with "classics", cmon people, its not like Paul McCartney doing a new verision of "let it Be". those songs are not "classics" they are good songs but dont get all carried away. ALSO the originals ARE ON THE CD, so calm down your "classics" are still there. I love the re-worked version of "Beautiful", its another way to look at the song, and quite better and gives the song another side, as is "Genie 2.0" i think XTINA threw these new songs and re-works to give her fans a feel of where she is going on the next record. I think she is going into a very "deep club" album, she has already done the "standards" the "pop" and the "rb" record, so it would be time to go "dance".

Its ok. but to me Guns was a two album wonder, and those were "lies" and "Appetite" and since then its been the rose show, which is ok, but they are far from a band. I think the "mystery" of the record and its release, is much like that of the "the black album" from prince. and when it came out, it did what it did, but felt like it was 10 years late. Not that im saying "dated" because i hate that word and think its stupid, but i just feel Axl and the mystery are bigger than the record can ever be, but all in all, i dont mind it, but it cant compare to the great rock records of this year from Extreme and Metallica. As for Beyonce, the standard version is a best of the 2 discs, and i got the promo yesterday and gave it a few listens straight through no skipping and its so so, the first 6 songs are all ballady with similar themes in all of them, the other 5 are more dance/rb but still more of the same with the rb beats, though there are 2 standouts that are heavier dance cuts and not like anything she has done so far.

The ballad section of Beyoncé's album is very good. The Sasha fierce disc is 50/50. I only listened to the 11 track version.

About GNR, can't wait to listen to the album

ave maria bothers me. turning a prayer to Our Lady into a love song to JayZ is a bit questionable even to me.

most of the sasha stuff is horrid.

I was totally confused by all the different tracklisting but looks like "Lady Maramalade" might not make the final cut of the US edition...I guess it doesn't matter since the stuff they did put on there is pretty good. Haven't heard any of the news songs except "Keeps Gettin' Better". I'll definately be at Target early to get my copy so I can go to school later.

Haven't heard any of the Xtina albums but based on the singles she is my favourite out of the new bunch of female singers of the past decade.

excited I got my copy and also picked up Jennifer Hudson's new album, which is hot-hot! Loving the remixes! "You Are What You Are (Beautiful)" love and "Genie 2.0" worship are awesome and her new song "Dynamite" is fierce. I'm still not that big on "Keeps Getting Better", but it's growing on me.

Seriously, I think I've bought or listened to almost every single female artist's album this year and the best ones for me so far are: Jennifer Hudson, Erykah Badu, Leona Lewis, and Christina (even though it's a greatest hits compilation; the remixes are great considering that the original "Genie in a Bottle" is crap bubblegum pop compared to the new version IMO).

Madonna, Janet, and Mariah all really disappointed me this year, because I was expecting better from the original divas, but they're all soo trend following now which is sad considering that they were trend setters for years. They're latest albums were no better than the newbies who copy them who they are now trying to emulate themselves. disbelief They're next albums had better floor me, especially Janet, because I wasn't that impressed by her 2 previous albums, whereas I like much of Madonna's "Confessions" and loved "Emancipation of Mimi".

I refuse to buy Beyonce's or Britney's because neither of them are doing anything new or interesting in the two songs and videos that I've seen from them. Same old, same old...staying in the safety zone rolleyes . I believe a real artist should grow and try different things and some of these ladies seem to either regress, conform to trends, or refuse to leave their damn safe zones. If they ain't growin', I ain't interested. hmph!

I might have to get Donna Summer's ("Stamp Your Feet" mushy ) and
P!nk's new albums on my next wrecka stow trip. I've already heard almost all of Rihanna's. Is she going to put out a video for every single song or what? lol
