Are there multiple opportunities for people to perform or is it just one singer one song?

In addition to the actual inauguration, there are several inaugural events and balls hosted by different groups with different entertainment. I think the celebration spans several days. I think she was referring to the actual inauguration though. confused

I suggest Mr. Obama get a performer who's actually talented.

Yes, and someone who isn't going to scream their heads off either. I would love to see Yolanda Adams sing. She's a class act.

She's classy, but Yo-yo is definitely a screamer too. lol

She always starts off calm though lol

Jennifer Hudson would be outstanding and if she can't make it, Shanice did an inaugural song for Barack.

Love her! mushy

If President Obama wants to hear, "If I Were A Boy", during the ceremony, Shanice can sing that too.

We've finally got the goodwill of the world back. We cannot squander that by putting that talentless skank on the national stage.

President Obama...please invite Stevie Wonder to perform. It is only fitting.
(I'd suggest Michael or Prince but them being eccentric and flakey just isn't something I'd want our new President to have to bother with. Period.)

I just had that same thought, and googled the org to see if anyone else felt that same way. I have a strong feeling Barack might ask Prince to honor him by performing at his inauguration. Prince would probably pee on himself, lol. He'd probably require compensation and exclusive rights to all digital media of the event, lol. But what an event that would be! nod

We don't need another Kennedy/MM moment and when his birthday comes, she sings "Happy Birthday Mr.President" or a Clinton/Lewinsky moment when he said "I didn't have sexual relations with that girl. Let's keep our minds out of the gutter and hope all goes well this four years.
