I got the Pink and John Legend CD's today.
Too early to tell, but the Pink has some good tracks. "Sober" and "Funhouse" were two that stood out.

My review from 10/17/2008 previously posted
Listening to it now. 'So What' is an alternative rocker that is earnest and amusing but my guess is they recorded better. 'Sober' is an introspective power ballad which shimmer and shines while being achingly personal. 'Just Like a Pill' stripped of its bravado. 'I Don't Believe You' should be the first single. Pouty, hurt, resentful, rebellious and needy. All Pink. 'One Foot Wrong' sounds like a Joss Stone or Duffy track. The 'When You Were Mine' sound of 'Please Don't Leave Me.' As artificial as it is it give you that perfect pop ride. 'Bad Influence' obviously didn't make Donna Summer's 'Crayons'. She never owns this track as she does 'It's All Your Fault.' 'Funhouse' is funkier than anything since 'There You Go.' Should be a single but probably won't be - should have no trouble garnering club play. The acoustic 'Crystal Ball' is confident but feels rushed at times. That I'm sure owes a lot to comparing this track to Jewel. 'Mean' opens as a rocker but sounds like a Dixie Chicks track. This one could chart country. Back to the fun times with 'It's All Your Fault' In the vein of her second album but she's not revisiting old ground. 'Ave Mary A' - urgent, driving, great vocal play. This is everything you would expect from a Pink song and single. It seems hard to imagine that this isn't gift wrapped for radio. 'Glitter in The Air' is dismissive except for Pink's stellar vocal.Better here than 'Crystal Ball. Of course, 'This Is How It Goes Down' is Pink but Gwen Stefani lurks all over the track. (I don't know if she actually had anything to do with it but it wouldn't surprise.) 'Could've Had Everything' is the standard Pink pop/R&B lament track. Seems one ends up on every album. ('I Got Money Now'). Overall I would recommend it if you like either of Pink's first two albums. If you have all four this one seems less focused but once again she is branching out. Her writing and/ or song selection is becoming more intimate without the facades thrown up. With the level of growth she's shown, she could be close to springing an Album of the Year on us. I've been a Pink fan since the first time I saw the video for , 'There You Go', she was someone I knew wouldn't be a one hit wonder. She's taken twists and turn which I've generally enjoyed. This album establishes that Pink has a 'sound' not just a voice in different genres. At times she seems to expend a lot of energy fighting it. When she goes with it, she shines with confidence. incredible falling more in love with the album after each listen.

I like it--and love a few of the tracks more than anything she's done (Mean, Sober, So What). But still find her albums hard to listen to in one sitting. It's almost like she tries to hard to make each song perfect, if that makes any sense.
I don't actually like the title track. The "evil clowns" rhyme just stops me cold every time.

'I DON'T BELIEVE YOU' 'PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME' 'AVE MARY A' Are my favorites, although I can listen to the whole album I don't care for Bad Influence which I may have to just delete. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

The song "So What" is very catchy and sticks in my head once it's done. Sign of a hit song...
Plus the foot fetish album cover is a plus! [Edited 10/29/08 14:51pm]

I love "So What", but from what i've heard and read, the reviews seem to be pretty mixed. I have all of Pink's other albums though so i'll probably end up getting this one too. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

So What is Pink's best selling song of her entire career.
Anyway, I only like It's All Your Fault. Hope it's the 2nd single.
