Freedom is from my hometown of Jackson, MS. I think they did that particular track on TK Records and they eventually went to Malaco Records which isn't far from my house. The strange thing is, the only Freedom CD I've seen is a Japanese import. They don't even have it at the Malaco studio. Ain't that some shit. You got to order something from Japan that was recorded right up the street.
You should hear their other jams: Funktionary At The Party Whodat They also remade Prince's "Do It All Night". Andy is a four letter word. | |
