"She drives ne wild" is just underrated, the same goes for "Give in to me" and "In the closet", great songs.

I think the whole Dangerous album is underated. It´s my favourite MJ album. There are so many great tracks that never get mentioned for instance even here on the org when talking about great MJ songs. Songs like Why You Wanna Trip On Me, She Drives Me Wild, Can´t Let Her Get Away, Give Into Me, Gone Too Soon, Will You Be There, Who Is It, Keep the Faith - brilliant tracks, all so unique and different.

out of these i like GITM, GTS, WYOBT, WIT, KTF. MJ wrote great songs between 1988 and 1991...

let's not forget the leftovers Earth Song and Blood On The Dancefloor.

Yeah, for me its a masterpiece, "Will you be there" is just a timeless melody, i just love this song , My fav Mj song of all time is simply " Stranger in moscow" followed by " will you be there" .....Timeless melodies.

My favourites from that album are "In The Closet", "Jam", "Who Is It" (it sounds a bit like Billie Jean part II), "Will You Be There" "Why You Wanna Trip On Me" and "Dangerous". The absolute best however is by far "Give In To Me". For me "Dangerous" is the best Michael Jackson album I know everyone is going to disagree with this but I enjoy it much more than the previous 3 which I also love. But he lost me big time with everything he did (musically) after Dangerous.

I do disagree with you: My favourite is History disc 2/Blood on the Dancefloor. Dangerous and Off The Wall are a tie for second place. It's all very close, though! razz

"Dangerous" is a great album, I put it ahead of "Bad" and "History."

I didn't understand why he released Heal The World and not Keep The Faith which is a million times better. Cut out Heal The World and a few of the same-same songs on the front half of Dangerous (Why U Wanna Trip, Can't Let Her Get Away, She Drives Me Wild) then it's a much stronger album.

Don't quote me on this, but I seem to remember something about them feeling Keep The Faith was too old-fashioned to be a single, with the gospel touches? That would make sense to me, since MJ was trying really hard to update his image at that point.

No way, I love those songs much more than Black or White, for instance.

I think Heal The World is just a typical MJ song - you may say it´s cheesy, but it has great melody. There´s nothing wrong about this song for me.

I take that back, "I Can't Let Her Get Away" doesn't make sense. But "Jam" and "She Drives Me Wild" are still the shit, lol...

Heh, I'm the exact opposite. I love I Can't Let Her Get Away, but I'm kind of luke warm on the other two.

Same here. I LOVE I Can't Let Her Get Away. One of my favourite songs off the album. The other two I can't stand, actually.

Gee I think we're twins. Blood on the Dancefloor/History Disc 2 is my number one favourite album too, I always include them together. I think it was Michael at his most creative and brilliant. Oh except for the second part, my second favourite album is 'Bad' and Off The Wall comes last with 'Invincible'.

I agree about the melody being so good

though I love Dangerous and agree that it contains some of the best work of his career, my number one mj albums are Bad and Thriller although I love all his work from the late 60's to present. I can listen to those start to finish and the flow of the albums are amazing. Even though he had a lot of masterpieces in the 90's, start to finish, the flow on the albums aren't the same as how Quincy arranged it.

I think songs like For All Time and Someone Put Your Hand Out would have been great if they had made it on Dangerous, lyrically they seem to fit the theme of the album more.

there aren't any themes on the albums. Of course you could say Thriller is a thriller but there's no theme. MJ just likes one name albums.

I think there are definitely themes to MJ's albums, at least the ones post-Thriller, when he started to write and co-write a lot of the tracks himself. Dangerous and History especially have very strong themes running through them, at least as I see it.

Well a lot of the songs on Dangerous are about love and relationships even if it's vague, the two cuts I mentioned, lyrically would have fit in with those songs.

And that picture with the black outfit is really nice, I've never seen that one before, love the pants!

I do like mike
I´m not a hater

but I don´t like to look at these pale pictures of him.
he´s the palest in the picture
I don´t get why he took it that far.
and it messed up his career.

Yeah, I love it, too. He´s so hot in that one. It´s from the making of History Trailor. Here´s another picture, this time with LMP. One of my favourite of the two.

I don't like him pale either, it scared me during HIStory though it didn't keep me from loving the music, I just meant the buckle pants.
