Michael Jackson planning 30 city tour Michael Jackson has told his fans that he is planning to make a huge comeback with a 30-date world tour.
The Thriller hit maker revealed that he intended to put finishing touches to his comeback plans after discussing them with the top music heads in LA. The former King of Pop, who hopes to revisit the stage in 30 cities across the world next year, further said he wanted his children to know his profession better. “Michael said he wasn’t doing a Vegas residency but was going on a world tour, taking in 30 cities next year,” the Sun quoted a follower as saying. “He said he wanted to do it for his kids. He wants them to see what he does, and he wants to take them on the road. “He said he was on his way to Los Angeles to finalize the details,” the source added. The 50-year-old’s career had taken a beating in 2005 following a child abuse trial against him for which he was later acquitted. although i believe this is just another tabloid story, i think their is some truth in it.. i do think mj will tour for one last time and i think a come back tour at this point would be massive, but he needs to pull out all the stops and not fuck it up.
He could easily earn £50million from a tour and an album, the music industry is desperate for it. | |

a 30 city world tour? doesn't he only tour in certain countries? i mean i don't know anyone who's ever seen him perform live. i don't even know the last time he toured anywhere on the same continent as most of the people i know.
this is not a jab at MJ or his fans, but this guy (or whoever speaks for him) always makes promises or announcements that never come true. i almost feel sorry for his hardcore fanbase. new single!! nope. new album!! nope. comeback!! nope. new tour!! etc.   | |

The problem with a tour is that his body has aged faster and i dont think he has the physical ability to dance. So much of his music is about his dance routines.
His body cant take that kinda rigurous punishment anymore. And it will only get worse with time Thats where his insecurities lye. He is very insecure person and he needs to relax plus the source of this article is from an indian website which makes i highly doubtable [Edited 10/26/08 14:39pm] |
