MORRISSEY "Years Of Refusal" New Album- Feb 09... Morrissey's new album "Years Of Refusal" now has a release date of February 23rd 2009, which will also see the start of a lengthy US tour. New Zealand and Australia will now follow the US dates.
The new album is preceded by "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" as a single release. CD1 and CD2 will be supported by two new songs "Because Of My Poor Education" and "Shame Is The Name". Both songs were recorded with Jerry Finn as part of the Refusal sessions, and "Shame Is The Name" features additional vocals by Chrissie Hynde. ...And I kid you not- this is the cover of "Years Of Refusal"!!!!

Morrissey "Years Of Refusal" 12 Tracks - 43 mins 25 seconds From the Album Years Of Refusal on Polydor (UK) The album is released February 16th and the first single would be "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" with a physical release of February 9th. Honestly, I haven't cared much for any album since Your Arsenal, though I mildly liked Vauxhall and I. I do like the idea of a collaboration with Chrissie Hynde though.  | |

Morrissey UK shows May 2009 Morrissey will perform at London's Royal Albert Hall on Monday 11th May and two homecoming shows at the Manchester Apollo on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May, with special guest, Doll & The Kicks. Morrissey's new studio album, "Years of Refusal", will be released on 16th February 2009 on Polydor preceded by the single "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" one week prior.
