Poor old Russell. Once again the only important thing happening in the world is celebrity.
Poor old Russell and Wossy. I mean that girl is a slut. Take a look at her mySpace and various snippets of info on her and you'll see that a girl like that is just a money grabbing whore. I like Russell. He's brash yet humane. Filth and flowers.

I think there should be a big concert to help Russell out. It could be called Brand Aid.

From yahoo - Brand said in a statement: "I have apologised to Andrew Sachs for the rude messages I left on October 18 and he has graciously accepted.
"As I only do the radio show to make people laugh I've decided that given the subsequent coverage I will stop doing the show. "I got a bit caught up in the moment and forgot that at the core of the rude comments and silly songs were the real feelings of a beloved and brilliant comic actor and a very sweet and big-hearted young woman." Actor Andrew Sachs tonight said he respected Russell Brand's decision to quit his BBC Radio 2 show in the row over prank calls made to Sachs by Brand and Jonathan Ross. Mr Sachs said: "I respect his decision. I hope he moves forward, I really hope he does." Mr Sachs, speaking at the door of his home in Kilburn, north London, said: "I can understand him doing it, I hope he finds a better direction, I really wish him well, if he has done that. "It might be a big turning point in his life." Asked what he meant by saying it could be a turning point for Brand, Mr Sachs said: "To rethink his whole career, the opportunities are there to move forward. "Some people have disasters and never advance from that, but he's young, it's an opportunity for him. I tend to think positively about people." Mr Sachs said he had "no feelings" about whether Jonathan Ross should do the same. He said he would be writing to both men to thank them for the letters that they had sent to him. Earlier Mr Sachs said he was "not surprised" Ross and Brand had been suspended by the BBC over their prank calls to him. And he confirmed he was not planning to take the matter up with the police. He said the pair had got it "badly wrong" and made a "poor team", but he was not seeking revenge. http://www.independent.co...77804.html Bloody Ofcom brigade at it again you cant fart or sneeze with that lot and they complain. Yeah they did wrong but this witch hunt is bloody ridicules. We got a nation in debt, high rates of house repossessions, elderly people freezing their arses frightened to turn on the heating, NHS going down the Thames and they keep writing about this incident!! Just shows you our countries priorities Love Muscle and Wossy made a mistake they have apologised so time for the witch hunt to end : Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted.

Sorry, I detest Russell Brand. I think he sucks and I can't stand watching him. He's not funny at all.

This is a storm in a teacup.
I listened to the original broadcast and although I thought it was a bit "off colour" I had forgotten it by the next day. Apparently the BBC received only two complaints. I've e-mailed the BBC today to let them know I'm disgusted that they are allowing the tabloid press to lead them by the nose on this. I suspect that when this furore blows over we will find that the granddaughter and her rep Max Clifford are the true instigators of this witch hunt. Is there anybody else who has slightly mysterious bruises?

News at Ten last night spent nearly 15 minutes (the first 15 minutes!) on this story with live coverage! They were coming back with more news on the story later. I didn't wait up.
Apparently the British media don't know about the world recession or squaddies dying in Afghanistan or the tens of thousands fleeing for their lives in the Congo. Or at least if they do it's of a lower priority.
