LISTEN: Early version of George Michael's "Too Funky" This is an early version of Too Funky... mixed with Happy, another song from 1989/1990.
GM said TF had six different versions, and I bet this is version one or two because in 1990 he allready finished Happy (it was considered vor Listen Without Prejudice). Although the final version is better I like it. I wish more demos would leak... http://ca.youtube.com/wat...aoHYqxiaSc | |

The description said someone recorded it from a cell phone. okay, but he can't have recorded it live from the studio it was recorded because back in 1990 noone had hideable cell phones. This makes me wonder where this was played? | |

He began writing the song in 1989, when around teh time he wrote Freedom 90. But he never was satisfied with this song. Even the final version he always despised a bit... The demo naturally involved into the songs Happy and Too Funky. The instrumental and samples were used for Too Funky completely. you gotta listen to Happy as well. And who don't know it: Listen to Do You Really Want To Know, as well. | |
