I've always loved BB&Q. They were biting "Change" but I thought they had added some originality to thier sound as well. Great songs too.

Yeah the same guys were producing both bands...Jaques Petrus and Mauro Malavasi put BB&Q together after they had success with Change...

...and they were probably checking out Chic the whole time....

yeah,both of these bands (Change and BB&Q Band) were definitely influenced by Chic.Their songs have that same light disco/funk sound that Chic pioneered in the late 70s.

I'm looking for BB&Q's first album! With the singles "On The Beat" and "Time For Love".It was easy finding their second album (on CD,no less) but the first album is harder to find.My search continues...
