'TTD's Vibrator' - Terrence Trent D'Arby's Greatest Album?

Good LAWD! I've had this 4 a while now, but just dusted it off 4 a spin. WOW. I mean I really dig 'Symphony or Damn' and 'The Hardline According 2...'... I don't have 'Neither Fish Nor Flesh', and haven't ever heard it, but 'Vibrator' is sublime throughout its' entirety.

I just listened to this cd last night. It's still one of my favorties. His voice is awesome on every song. When I first got this cd many years ago it took me a while to really appreciate it. I love it!

Out of all his CD's, this is my favorite. My favorite cut is "We don't have that much time together". Love this CD.

The ballads on this CD makes it my favorite.

Undeniably, We Don't Have That Much Time Together, If You Go Before Me, and It's Been Said are all incredible songs.

It's not his best, but it's pretty good.

I think I bought this the day it came out and was hugely disappointed after how much I fell in love with Symphony. Never gave it much of a chance. But for as much praise as I see it given around here, it makes me want to revisit that album and discover what everyone else admires about it.

Yes. Great album.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

nod Same for me. It's my favourite album by him and probably still my favourite album by any artist worship. There's not one song on it that I don't love music. And "Holding On To You" is just truly amazing love love.

I love this album and the b-sides are absolutely fantastic too. I'm not sure but I believe all the b-sides are in one way or another referred to on the album. I mean, the lyrics to Angels Fly Because are on the last pages of the cd booklet, a small snippet of I Really Want you is the intro of Supermodel Sandwich W/Cheese and a phrase from Your Love Is Indecipherable is on Undeniably. At the moment the only missing piece of the puzzle for me is the song Epilog.

I love every TTD album except Angels & Vampires, but this one is probably my least favorite for some reason. I don't get it. Maybe some day I'll get what everyone else hears. Not that it's bad, it's just not my fave.

My favorite is Symphony or Damn, but this one beats out the debut as my #2. Those three are all fantastic.

I have to give this one a listen again. I didn't feel it the last time I listened to it. Vibrator, I loved from the first time I heard it.

It's true that the voice is AMAZING, but the music, the lyrics and the production is excellent too cool .
