LL Cool J quits Janet Jackson's tour

"Unnamed scheduling conflicts" are listed as the reason. hmmm...

On his behalf, he really cant be expected to resume a tour that had so many cancellations and changes. I know "Janet" fans will just say that he is leaving the tour because he is not selling his latest album, well two points to that claim, one, neither is she, and two, he is off his label, his latest album, which is his best in a decade, is his last for Def Jam and he has a "heated" dispute with them, and they are not doing anything for him at this point except holding the door open for him to walk out of. So again, LL has to be thinking about the cancellations, his own fans that are coming to shows, and basically his own life and schedules.

I am disappointed. I am going to see Janet this Saturday, and I was looking forward to LL"s opening act. I was dying to hear "Jingling Baby".

Even though I really wanted to see LL, I don't think she needed the opening act anyway.

You really need to go into your LL Cool J backlog. That was one of his biggest hits. "Jingling baby, go head baby". Here it is below.

Why is LL Cool J an opening act in the first place?

Janet really doesn't need an opening act. I did enjoy the P. Diddy performance at the All for you tour. She should call Busta. He isn't busy.

I thought she wasn't doing "Call on Me". I wasnt crazy about that song but it was a number 1 on the rnb charts. I hope she does "Enjoy". That was really the only song i liked on 20 YO.

From what I remember, "Enjoy" only played while she was exiting the stage.

At my show she didn't do Enjoy.

She did Call On Me with a video screen with new footage of of Nelly and clips of JD.

For the encore she did Runaway and Luv.

Same for me. She didn't perform "Enjoy," they only played the song after she existed and the show was over.

As for "Call On Me," Nelly was actually there so that was cool to see them onstage together performing it.

"Call on Me" actually fits really well in the set it's in and it sounds good. I wasn't crazy about it when it came out, but at the concert I was dancing to it. That whole set was great. Probably the best part of the show. I felt really connected to her during that set

Actually, it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. It’s not my favorite song by any means but they sandwiched it well. Same for So Excited, another miss track for me but it hardly hurt where they placed it in the segment.

this tour is sounding more and more like a hot mess than it already was
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
