Which Jacksons albums are worth getting?

For some reason I've been re-discovering some of the old Jacksons albums lately, and was wondering which of the remaining albums is worth buying...

I've always loved Triumph (IMO the forgotten MJ album), I already have Victory (which is awful) and Destiny (which is very soulful)... What else is there worth getting?

Goin Places has good songs, but michael's vocals on there are the highlight of the album, same with the lyrical content

Seriously?

Just complete your collection. 'The Jacksons', 'Goin Places' and 'Live'.
In my opinion mid-seventies J5 is worth picking up too. anything 73-75 specifically.

Michael's vocals were on point back then, always said that's when his voice was at it's best, just after it changed. Listen to his ad-libs on 'The Jacksons'. Lawd almighty, he was gifted.

Err, all of them. They're all about a fiver anyway. The self titled one is my least favourite but it's still got GEMS like Style of Life and Think Happy.

All of them have their moments. Don't forget about 2300 Jackson St. You should be able to find it for a few dollars.

The only two albums I could recommend you from the bottom of my heart are Triumph and Destiny.

"The Jacksons" is a great project. People tend to forget about that album, but Gamble and Huff did some good work on that project. "2300 Jackson St." is very New Jack Swing, but has some good moments also.

Same people...different projects.

On the J5 albums, it was ALL MOTOWN/Berry. When they went to CBS, they had more creative freedom.

Goin' Places is my least favorite (behind Victory), but it's not that bad either.

Yes, I'd say all of them are worth getting aside from Victory. Triumph and Destiny are the best tho.
