like he did in 1996 for the Brunei concert(which will be leaked soon ) what do you mean soon? boots of that have been online for ages. Interesting. He's singing the first verse of "Scream" live before switching to lip synching. Later in the tour he dropped even that little ten seconds of live singing and just mimed the whole song all the way through. That fits in with the trend of all MJ tours. The lip synching always increases as the quality of his vocals declines on tour. On the History tour he set the bar very low from the start, with only a few minutes of live singing every night, but it seems even that was too much to handle and adjustments had to be made early in the tour. I knew that had happened on the Dangerous and Bad tours, but seeing this clip shows me that it also happened on the History Tour. It's no wonder he hates touring. Every time he tours he's brought face to face with the decline in his abilities. That must be soul destroying for a man who was once such an incredible live singer. Actually it will be believed when the lights go down and he comes on stage, selling tickets as we now, doesnt mean that a show is going to happen "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |

I'd like an album first and a live performance on TV or something so I can get a taste of what I'm paying for. It's been awhile and even 2001 wasn't quite up to par. I'm not sure what to expect from someone who's been pretty dormant for the better part of last decade or so. CDs and videos or one thing, but turning out a live 2 hour show is something else. [Edited 10/29/08 11:04am] I firmly believe on the other diease he suffers from LAZINESS The other Brunei concert was nearly all live. It's going to be leaked soon I Just Can't Stop Loving You That's an illogical explanation that you've cooked up in order to ignore the more depressing truth. My explanation is backed up with facts. The fact is the quality of Mike's vocals always deteriorates on tour. Is it coincidence that the deterioration coincides with an increase in lip synching? Please, be realistic. Singing live is not a chore for singers. Ask any good singer whether they prefer singing live or miming and they will ALWAYS prefer singing live. It's more fun, particularly if you can hear how good you sound. Who the hell would choose to mime when they could get up there and create glorious sounds instead? No one. That's why the only people who lip synch in concert are people who can't sing properly. Just compile a quick list of lip synchers and you'll quickly see what I mean. Even in this clip you've just posted from the start of the tour (before the wear-and-tear kicked in), Mike's voice is already pretty ragged. Sorry, but that vocal on IJCSLY is subpar. One can only imagine how bad it would have gotten if he'd continued singing live through the tour.
