I agree. I haven't really listened to the radio in years. I do like Jennifer Hudson though. She's the only in the game right now who can really sing. I read the article in Sister 2 Sister and Jaime asked her about the album cover. People were making comments that they tried to make her look slimmer. She was the cover is what it is. (I think it looks nice.) Nobody is saying anything about the artist who used auto tune. (I didn't know what that was, but it apparently correct tunes if the artist can't hit the note right.) She said she wasn't going to call any names, but that should be a bigger issue than her weight. I agree. I don't care for the pop scene. What happen to the real singers, the real soul? Where are the Patti Labelles, Chake Khans, Teena Maries? You have artists like Anthony Hamilton, Musiq, even Maxwell, who to me are some of the most talented brothers out there, but these are the ones who may only sell one million if that. I don't get it. Then you have the Sean Kingstons, who sound horrible and will mess up a Ben E King classic with that stupid song he did, but have a worldwide hit. I give up!!!! | |

Well, to me music has been sucking since 1998. But I don't bother with the mainstream anyways. I don't even deal with the radio. As Dead Prez (a Hip-Hop group who is good proving that this genre should not be the scapegoat of why music is bad today) once said: "TURN OFF YOUR RADIO!!! TURN OFF THAT BULLSHIT!!!"
I already have too large of a music collection to even bother with the radio. So fuck it, I'd rather listen to Heatwave.

Daddy is right. I'm the banana split daddy with the candy nuts. It's always better to sound like a daddy than a grand-daddy though.
