Is it just me or is new jack swing going to roll around very soon? I've already heard several songs that have similar musical elements. I heard this song on BET which I think was featuring Lil Wayne (can't remember the name or artist, bear with me) that had a beat like Girl You Know It's True and a hook from Sending All My Love

I'm sure Sasha Fierce will steal Amerie's sound again and make it upbeat like New Jack Swing, Timbaland's stuff with Nelly & Justin had elements of it though it completely wasn't it

yeah it really does, I always find myself comparing every year to twenty years ago as I remember it. Even a lot of poppy stuff makes me think of the late 80's even though there are differences too
