And then he is also being held on 28,000 bail.
There is a charge for which there is no bail at all "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

There is a charge for which there is no bail at all Guess it shouldn't be long before we find out what he's actually charged with this time.

If El is still on parole and has violated any parole term, there is no bail allowed. He could have violated something simple, like failing to report to his parole officer. There will still be a "no bail" hold place on him. **************************************************

Damn, I didn't know he only weighed 140 lbs. According to the information, he was arrested on Oct. 9, his next court date is Tuesday. [Edited 10/26/08 14:01pm]

Yeah, but even way before the crack El was always skinny. He has never been muscular like Chico. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Yeah you're right there... But mayne... these DeBarges have lived such a rough life I can't even be surprised anymore when I hear about them getting arrested. And it's the usual two: El and Chico.

Knock on wood, Chico has pretty much avoided jail except for last year and he posted bail ASAP. I think he has pretty much tried to be on the straight and narrow and I think he is more grounded and driven and more normal than El. I also don't think Chico is as troubled as El is and certainly not as weird as El.
Here is a very young El in 81 and in 86 and a few years ago, with his daughter,Adris, who is tracey edmonds assistant he has always been thin [Edited 10/26/08 14:46pm] "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Aight, it's been a while since Jonathan has been arrested, lol... good for him though. But anyway, yeah, El has always been weird. @ the first picture, where was they at? Berry Gordy's house?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I am not sure where they are-that pic was taken in either 81 or around the time "I Like It" came out.
Yeah, as much as I love him, El has always been off. Can't really put my finger on it, it's things he has said here and there. Like I said, Chico is more grounded and normal. But I think all that time in prison straightened him out. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Of course, Chico used to look like this: He didn't really bulk up until he spent some time in the clink. Maybe El will follow in his little brother's footsteps there as well. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Yeah, Chico was really skinny back then. All of those Debarges are thin.
But El has spent a LOT more time in jail than you think and this is not the first time he has been charged with a felony. He was charged with another back in the 90s, I believe. He has a much longer criminal rap sheet than just the shit that is listed. Tommy Debarge of Switch did time in jail for selling fake coke to a police officer. I don't know what kind of kids Mama Debarge was raising, but she is a bit self righteous for me. [Edited 10/26/08 15:05pm] "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Alex, Eldra had all that time to bulk up but he wasn't forced to toughen up in jail because Chico had to do six years hard labor. El went to jail on shorter terms for misdemeanor issues. He 47 still lookin' like a toothpick.

Six years of hard labor-what hard labor was he doing?
From what I understand, those drug charges were Chico's first brush with the law and he went down real hard because they wanted to make an example of him. I am still not sure how Bobby figured into all that, though "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Who needs evidence? I've seen the video to "Talk to Me" and I'm sure his cellmates had as well. They were calling him Chico, but he was probably calling somebody Papi... "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
