I still have a hard time believing that it was only improvisation WOW! Improvised from several live shows too. That shows the talent of Ray Charles. The guy took a little ditty and made it revolutionary. The radio version of this, while still sexual in nature, did appeal to everybody when it finally did get released. It was truly seductive especially considering his past releases. The funnies thing about Ray is that he could've retired or not had another big hit after "What I Say" and still he would've left an indelible mark on music. | |

I love this song man. I got the same kinda wurlitzer sound in the yamaha motif xs 7 so I always imitate the intro. | |
