I still have a hard time believing that it was only improvisation Improvised from several live shows too. That shows the talent of Ray Charles. The guy took a little ditty and made it revolutionary. The radio version of this, while still sexual in nature, did appeal to everybody when it finally did get released. I credit this song with starting "soul music". [Edited 10/25/08 15:22pm] | |

I love this song man. I got the same kinda wurlitzer sound in the yamaha motif xs 7 so I always imitate the intro. | |
