I am a major Madonna fan enjoyed each and every one of her albums hey I even loved "I'm Breathless" and "American Life" but... I just hate "Hard Candy" (even though I love Nelly Furtado's latest album). Only "Heartbeat" and "Beat Goes On' sound good in there the rest just sound like it's not Madonna who's singing and to me her voice sounds lame and uninteresting. Anyone has similar feelings about this album? and yes I do like R&B although not as much as before it has gone downhill massively the last decade or so i used to really like rnb, but now it is crap, over produced with to many sythns very annoying, but i like hard candy, not one of her best albums but theres some real good tunes on there | |

Hard Candy will be like a fine wine and just needs to age appropriatley with some bad albums in the future..then you guys will compare those albums and then realize that HC is one of her most rhythmic, catchy and somewhat experimental albums to date. As much as Ray Of Light, Like A Prayer and really could go head to head with the Madonna album. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I'd like to say that yesterday I got my "Hard Candy" cd back from my friend (who had it for like one and a half months) and I gave it another try. Well I absolutely love it now. I heard three times today and I have to say I was wrong. It is wonderful. Maybe the first months I didn't like it because I had a reaction to an antibiotic and I had tinnitus I don't know but I absolutely love it now. It is up there with Madonna's best. I am still not very keen on the last 3 tracks and "Heartbeat" remains my favourite with "Beat Goes On" a close second but I can now say I currently like this album more than "Like A Prayer". This happenned to me before with "Erotica". So glad I was wrong Madonna I love you | |
