Lyfe Jennings was arrested just moments ago in Smyrna, GA for firing off a concealed weapon and leading cops on a high speed car chase afterwards. No word on who he was firing at or why, but thanks to him being a convicted felon already, this ish is not looking good. And neither is his face in that mugshot since they caught him after he crashed his car. Lyfe has been charged with felony weapon possession by a convicted felon. And he also faces charges of attempting to elude police, discharging a firearm near a public highway, and refusing to take the sobriety test.

Did anybody else know dude’s real name is Chester? Lyfe is just taking all types of L’s today. TMZ has the court documents. *SMDH and putting on “Let’s Stay Together” since it may be the last track I hear from him*

Since he's hit the music scene Lyfe Jennings has been such a positive force -- especially when it comes to educating young people about HIV awareness and taking a different path than the criminal one. That's why I was so shocked and disappointed to hear that he was arrested in Cobb County for firing a concealed weapon, trying to elude police and suspicion of DUI.

Real dumb shit. I remember when i was on line to get into BB kings for a show he was handing out a four songs cdr of stuff from his first cd and he was talking a real positive vibe, but i remember seeing some cats that were in his truck that worked for him or part of his entourage that looked really shady, im talking like you didnt want to make "eye contact" with these dudes for too long or else. But no excuse for thhis at all

This dude came up through our prison system in Ohio. I work for the prison system, know him personally, just a good dude. I don't believe it. I just can't believe it.

Boy I can tell you stories about the music scene here. One big family bro.It is definetly something in the water. Sad but true! Marc's son plays bass in the INMATE band here at the prison that I am over.

They were supposed to come to charlotte last year with brick, the barkays, and zapp but the show was canceled. Is there any part or form of slave touring now. Slave has a concert DVD out featuring Drac (looking like a hot mess) which is actually pretty good. The singer did a good job of singing lead but no one can touch Steve. everything in the allegations: guns, running from the police, drinking and driving...its not like its some freak occurrence at that moment in time. Its been ongoing and his blatant carelessness and his virtual flaunting of him thinking he is a badass caught up with him. I hope they put his ass away, he's no good. I'm saying since he was released I have not heard anything bad about this dude, Even met him at Angie Stones album release party and i got the feeling that he was a really nice guy.. Easily one of the worst voices I've ever heard. That scratchy-gravel soundin' scrub is irritating as fuck. I cussed-out the chick that recommended him to me. Plus, I got tired of his ass talking all through his 1st CD. Shut the fuck up, dawg! I don't care about your time in prison. And all this means is that his next CD will have MORE of him talking about being locked up .
