I mean how much footage have you actually seen of dude. It's from what 1982? I think he was at his zenith. | |

It's a great show. My only complaint is that he drags some of the audience participation out too long.
Somebody say oooooh weeeee..... Somebody say oooooh oooooh.... In some of the songs, he drags it out forever.  Andy is a four letter word. | |

If you guys are talking about the "SuperFreak Live" DVD....I'm not too impressed with it.Like Vainandy says,Rick does too much audience participation stuff.Whenever he gets a hot groove going,he spoils the flow with all those silly games.
I'm sure that there is an excellent early 80s Rick James concert on tape somewhere,but this isn't it. | |
