So...How was that Rick James DVD?

I dont see really good reviews for it on amazon.com

I mean how much footage have you actually seen of dude.

It's from what 1982? I think he was at his zenith.

I never ever seen Rick James live ... only the videos.

People who don't enjoy this DVD.. I don't know what they are comparing it too. Their fuzzy memories of seeing him live in 1981?

It's a great show. My only complaint is that he drags some of the audience participation out too long.

Somebody say oooooh weeeee.....

Somebody say oooooh oooooh....


In some of the songs, he drags it out forever. lol

Man I love that too. I think the shots that they got on camera were great too.

I like that backstage shot of Rick taking a big swig before going out on stage. lol

If you guys are talking about the "SuperFreak Live" DVD....I'm not too impressed with it.Like Vainandy says,Rick does too much audience participation stuff.Whenever he gets a hot groove going,he spoils the flow with all those silly games.

I'm sure that there is an excellent early 80s Rick James concert on tape somewhere,but this isn't it.

why are you imagining a concert where rick does not participate with the audience??
