Awww Man, this seemed so exciting to be at!!! So refreshing, I'd rather watch this, than that awful ghetto BET Hip Hop Awards. And they had the nerve to have T-Pain hosting it because Katt Williams was M.I.A. for some odd reason confused .
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

There was a rumor he pulled out last minute after losing a bet...it sounds pretty far fetched, but with the way celebrities act today, who knows.

Katt was fired at the last minute after acting a fool and getting divaish with the producers of the show.

You know what, after I posted my comment I read something similar to what you have said. Something about he didn't like how some producer was treating him, or she said something to him about missing rehearsals, then he proceded to berade her and crack on her the rest of the day until she apologized, which she did not. So then he left off the set and never returned. I heard BET is backing the producer and not him though. Why the hell does fame make people act like such assholes? It was just a little over a week ago when he was on the Steve Harvey Morning Show (radio) talking about how humble he was and honored to host the BET hip hop awards for another year, and also how he would be opening for Steve Harvey on New Year's Eve and that he will be retiring from doing stand-up. I think that's just a publicity stunt, he ain't going to stop doing stand up, he hasn't even done it 10 years yet professionally, I don't think!!

UTFO was one of my favorite rap groups from the 80's. I still like their music a lot (20-some years later). lol

Yep, after the BET thing last week- Tom Joyer talked about he couldn't believe what happened becuase he has known Katt to be very nice person.

But,apparently there have been reports of Katt's bad behavior during other events.

nod

That's why you would see UTFO in some of whodini's earlier videos
like freaks come out at night and escape.

I just thought it was the Fresh Fest connection. There weren't any other rappers on their (commercial) level 1984-1985.
