Yesss you said it Beyonce is generic. BTW she does look like Sheila.....they should do a Sheila Biopic...If Beyonce can learn to play the Timbales Diana being too old for Doroty in The Wiz was one of the major criticisms of the movie when it came out. I would actually enjoy the movie more if Stephanie Mills got the chance to take her role to the big screen. Everytime I watch "The Wiz", I always have to listen to the Broadway soundtrack immediately after the movie is over, because Stephanie Mills is a waaaay better singer than Diana IMO. I've never liked Diana Ross and after reading the book, "Motown", I wanted to punch her in her huge ass eyes. Now, if she smacked Beyonce, that would make me like her a tiny bit. She couldn't manage to give some grit to a made up character, what made her caretakers think she could handle portraying a woman as deep as Etta. Papa Knowles is determined to get his baby the oscar Jennifer stole from her.
