I absolutely love, love, love, love the fact that as of the last two years or so, old school funk like this is getting props in the media. It's approaching mainstream! lol It's nearly there, I can almost touch it!

Oldschool Funk has definitely become more popular, knocking on the door of mainstream. I doubt that it'll ever become mainstream - it failed to do so even back in the day. But it's nice and very refreshing to see more and more mainstream folks at the shows, who are enjoying themselves even though they got no clue of what they are seeing. smile
