ABBA - THE VISITORS - their best album

1. "The Visitors" – 5:47
2. "Head Over Heels" – 3:48
3. "When All is Said and Done" – 3:17
4. "Soldiers" – 4:41
5. "I Let the Music Speak" – 5:23
6. "One of Us" – 3:57
7. "Two for the Price of One" – 3:38
8. "Slipping Through My Fingers" – 3:53
9. "Like An Angel Passing Through My Room" – 3:40

If you want to own at least one ABBA, this is the one. Excellent production and maybe the best lyrics the boys from group have penned. Strangely it's a very dark and paranoid themed album, tackling cold war, family and loss. Simply brilliant. For those like me that appreciate the sadness in pop music. The best songs are the negative themed ones.

I love this album, too, and the special edition of it that includes tracks like "The Day Before You Came" and "Under Attack" add to the album's tone, nicely. My favorite single is probably "Head Over Heels". It's very Euro pop but fun. In the video, Frida reminds me of David Bowie!

I only refused to listen to it. It had no hit single like the other albums (don't say Head Over Heels was a big hit). But it's definitively the al bum with the finest production and finest lyrics.
But I wouldn't advice anyone to buy this album first. Starters should buy Super Trouper and Arrival, non-fans will live happily with the best of.

An amazing record and a great way to close the book on the group so to speak

I too love the Visitors - an excellent, too often ignored pop gem.But my favortite ABBA is still Super Trouper. Then this one.

Strangely this is the only abba album I truly love. The rest is just singles.

Yeah i gotta agree on that, though there are a couple of other albums of theirs i like, i think they never got to a point where they were very strong album artists, but they always were strong on singles.

This was my first album! I was five when it came out. I have a playlist with these songs and it makes me happy EVERY time.

I still think What About Livingstone got the most plays.

I thought they had at least one top ten from that album, but nope! "One Of Us" appears to be the only one that is on "Abba Gold". "When All Is Said And Done", one of their best ever, only hit 27.
