Do you love music a much as SHE does? Janfriend, a personal friend of mine who got me to join this site and is no longer with us, wrote this wonderful thing about music on her myspace page. It had been there forever, but I just noticed it. My jaw dropped when I read it because I can't write anything like that and it expresses how I feel sometimes. I thought it would be perfect for this forum because everyday I read the posts here I can see there is a huge love for music. This is what she wrote:
The world is chaos. Whether it’s work, school, or environment; it is chaos. I can only find solace in my home and in music. Music is my healer. It helps me find peace within my soul. It expresses what I cannot. It feels what I feel. It loves, hates, and forgives in a way I cannot. It is pure. It is righteous and infallible. It is beauty. It is a gift from God. EVERYONE can find a song to fit their mood, life, love, misery, expectation, humbleness, and blessings. I will always rely on music. It is always loyal and I am loyal to it. I will never abandon music. I will never fall out of love with it. It is my constant companion, my best friend, the love of my life. Music will always center me. Music is my ROCK! So, how do you feel about music? Under certain circumstances, urgent circumstances, desperate circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer.

Yes... I never stop. Nothing moves me as much as music can, and there is nothing I devote more time to in my life than I devote to music. As Frank Zappa said "Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid" "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan
