Is the new LL cool J worth buying? I liked the first two singles on his new CD. He hasn't had a good single since Luv U Better with Donnel jones. I was thinking about buying CD but I wanted to know everyone's thoughts before I waste my money on another shitty CD.

the thing i like most about his record are the tracks like "Its time for War" and "dear Hip Hop" which is a kiss my ass to the rap industry and what its become, but best is the track "Ringtone Murder" great track, once again aimed at what rap is now, nothing but a ringtone, how it has nothing to say. My complaint on the record is just too many tracks, their should be a 10-12 track LAW on everyone. He has been playing the corporate game for the last ten years and become very boring to me.

But who hasnt? even the so called cutting edge artists are so calculated its not even funny. I mean who in rap is not corporate? who is not afraid to not sell? thats my issue with alot of rap is that they are all scared of not selling that even there "rebelious" attitudes are fake and see through. LL ain't been the same since '96. Anything after that is wack. Only thing he's good for is starring in movies, and even that isn't working for him. Check me out and add me on:

Ever since Phenomenon it's been down hill without brakes. silverchild said: LL ain't been the same since '96. Anything after that is wack. Only thing he's good for is starring in movies, and even that isn't working for him.

Certainly that was the last ALBUM I felt worthy of rating with the rest of his catalog. There was one SONG I really liked after that album from 1999 called "Ill Bomb"
