wasn't he and El Debarge hanging out as "homies" on the regular at one point? Didn't El have his hair flat ironed like Quik's and they looked like twins? I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Yesp, they made a few tracks with each other. Hell, I wonder if Quik let Eldra become an honorary Piru? PRINCE: Always and Forever

i gained a whole new view of quik as a producer/musician because of 1998's "rhythmalism".... just listen 2 "whateva u do", "we still party", "el's interlude",and "you's a gangsta"

Oh, yeah. I'm a Quik fan and I think he's tha best producer on tha west coast along with Dr. Dre and the late Johnny J. Quik production is off tha hook and very under-rated. His rap skills is tight and lyrics is off tha hook too. He's a under-rated artist and people need 2 give him his props. He's one of tha legends of tha gangsta shit. Plus, he has great music all around, period. Ask Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Ludachris, T.I., The Game, AMG, 2Pac, Janet Jackson, and that's just only some of the artists he has worked with.

I'll even go out on a limb and say that Quik is even better than Dre... he's way more consistant at the very least. I like Trauma, and the Safe + Sound albums, especially the song "Diggin' U Out". Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!
