Billy Joel and Elton John to Tour Together Again!!!

Billy Joel and Elton John are rumored to tour in the near future together once again! Just thought everyone would like to know. Anyone know more details or when/where this tour could start?

I saw Billy last December and he was AMAZING. Probably the best concert I've been to in a long time.

Here is a link with what I just mentioned:

My guess is early 09, Elton has a new album ready to come out and Billy, well, he's still sticking to his word and never recording again, though, i really want him to break this "word", he has to have somehting great inside, its been way too long, 15 years to be exact.

I hope you are right! smile
River Of Dreams was the last real Billy Joel album and an AMAZING one IMO! I hate how him and MJ both have only been releasing hits albums for as long as I can remember. However, Billy did release that single, "All My Life" last year. It was so-so. I haven't cared for much of his new stuff, albeit the classical or the Sinatra styled stuff. However, his back catalog is so amazing - it is irresistible to miss him live.

Yeah that i cant even count because it was a "valentines" themed release, done for charity and things like that, so i dont even consider it a billy joel release, at least a serious one. But he needs to record something new, because he cant end his "Legacy" with "river of dreams" which was not a very good album at all, and he knew it.

If true, I wouldn't mind going to see this concert.

Does anyone know who has seen them perform live together in the past - is it GOOD to see them swapping songs and sharing vocal duties? Or does it ruin it?

I checked the last set-list and as long as Elton does, "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" and "Tiny Dancer" - I'll be satisfied on his end. However, it seems at the Billy Joel concert I attended, there were like 7 songs I wish he would have performed. That is why I at least want to see him live twice!!!
