Original version of the J5ive's "Mama's Pearl"

The J5 had a number 1 RnB hit / number 2 Pop hit (damn Osmonds and their rotten apple) with the soul classic "Mama's Pearl"

Here's the original tune "Guess Who's Making Whoopie With Your Girlfriend." Of course, the lyrics were way too inappropriate for a young group like the J5 to be singin' at the time.

Here's the version we all know and love today, "Mama's Pearl."

Here's the instrumental just for kicks.

MIKE DOESN'T SOUND TO THRILLED SINGING ABOUT SINGING THE WHOOPIE SONG. DEFINITELY MORE ENERGY WITH MAMA'S PEARL lol

Changing it was the right move. The "Whoopie" song is missing something, but "Mama's Pearl" is utterly sensational.
