Madonna's "Miles Away" is a sad song.Although the lyrics deal with a troubled long distance relationship,it can be interpreted another way.I see it as a relationship where the two people are "emotionally distant".....you know the old phrase "so close but yet so far"? Two people drifting apart.The last days of a relationship.
