Connie "Funky Little Beat" This is a great freestyle/electro pop record. Too bad there doesn't appear to be a proper video for it.

That is a pretty awesome sound. I have the song on my MP3 player. I could imagine like an album's worth of her stuff. Yes, Shesoffthewall....I'm all about finding some good freestyle lately. I don't think I ever heard this one when it was popular.

Great jam. It goes really well with Paul Hardcastle's "Rain Forest". Andy is a four letter word.

Vin, I was JUST going to make a thread on this song since I've been playing it so much this past summer. Has that great mid-'80s Florida bass sound.
I made a thread about this track back in 2005 on here. And I can't find it. But in it, I gave props to producer Amos Larkins. Amos helped spawn the bass/quad sound and paved the way for folks like Magic Mike, 2 Live Crew, Lil Jon, etc. This record and others like it (MC ADE's "Bass Rock Express," etc.) laid the groundwork for what became known as Miami Bass and Quad in the late '80s and '90s.
