plus I'm still considering if I wanna see NIN again in November

if one more band i like comes into minneapolis this year, i'm not going to have any money left to buy anyone any christmas presents and everyone i know will be getting "gently used" concert t-shirts this year.

Janet, Tina and Madonna are the ones I'm seriously mulling over.


Sigur Ros and MGMT, if I can get it together to get those days off, since they're each the night before one of the other shows.

i could deal with mary for like 2 songs, then i'd have to go out and take a break for a while. while i'm not a janet fan either, at least the visual aspect is a big part of her show (not to mention she's not a screamy singer) so i'd enjoy watching the eye candy aspect of her show.

Yep, it's 250 for the good seats and 130 for lower bowl. I don't really even feel like doing that because the lower bowl seats available suck.

that's one of my dilemmas in deciding i want to see her. all of the tickets i'm willing to pay for (at the moment) in the lower bowl SUCK. even the ones on ebay and stub hub.

i'll probably either get them and then try to upgrade, or just go ahead and pay for better seats (if there are even any available).

scalpers @ the venue aren't really an option for me, because it's going to be a monumental task just to GET THERE on time from where i'm at. i don't want to take the chance and go and then not even be able to afford getting into the show.

i'm torn! damn janet. or damn me, for not deciding to go sooner.

the upgrade thing will probably work, too and there is a habit of pretty great seats on sale a couple of days before a show.

i'm tempted to wait until a few days before when they release all the really good seats after they figure out how much space the stage is going to take up.

but i've got to plan for the trip in the middle of a busy seas at work and the person going with me has to schedule time off too, etc.

from what i've seen, everything about this tour has been handled poorly, with not confirmed setlist until the night of the first show to staggering the announcement of dates, etc.

i'm not blaming janet or her people for my unwillingness to take a chance on her the minute they went on sale, but i'm really kicking myself now.

i'll try goldcoast. but i'll probably just get the shitty lower bowl seats and hope for an upgrade. though i might as well just go ahead and fork out the money now. but it's a pretty steep amount to lay down for a janet show before i'm in the moment and excited about getting better seats

i'm glad i did it for George Michael though.
