Tevin Campbell singing "Run And Tell That" (Hairspray) on Broadway

This dude can still blow...check out that last riff. He needs to release an album...maybe Ne-yo could write it. I like Ne-yo's songs, but I hate his singing.

And that little girl can sing, too.

I just found out that's not a little girl. That's Naturi Naughton who used to be in 3LW and she's around 24 years old. I thought that voice was a little too grown for a young kid.

I don't know the date, but someone mentioned Diana Degarmo (American Idol) is playing Penny, so that would place this circa 2006.

Tevin has been doing this role for almost three years, now.

Is that clip seriously actual Broadway? Granted, I've never seen a real Broadway show, but I was under the impression the shows were a bit higher quality than that. The costumes looked cheap, and the choreography wasn't all that tight. Maybe it was an off night?

confused

I know what you mean, meow85. My high school musicals looked better than that. But, that really is Broadway.
