The new Aterciopelados came out today, but I haven't gotten it yet. That could make my top 10. The only other new album I know for sure I'll get this year is The Cure's latest, but I doubt that will make any kind of impact with me.
My top 10 of 2008 as of now: 1. Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree 2. Portishead - Third 3. The Raconteurs - Consolers Of The Lonely 4. Ladytron - Velocifero 5. Duffy - Rockferry 6. Sons And Daughters - This Gift 7. Gnarls Barkley - The Odd Couple 8. She & Him - Volume One 9. The Long Blondes - Couples 10. Santogold - Santogold Not as good as the last two years. I was very pleased with my top 20 lists of 2006 and 2007, but I can't say the same for this year.

It was more of a singles year for me. But the stuff 2006 and 2007 KICKED.MY.ASS. I still play stuff from the last two years like it just came out. 2006 is still my favorite music year of this decade.

I'm sure I'll like Britney's new album and I'm looking forward to Kanye's new one too. Will also see what Ciara's is like.
I listened to Ne-Yo's the other day, my god, it was HORRIBLE.

I really like the latest Lenny Kravitz and the new release from Bob Dylan, BUT, my absolute favorite album from 2008 is Al Green! The entire cd is awesome and it re-enforces to me that some people are still making meaningful, real music.
