Mmmbop the song

What are your thoughts on the song, "Mmmbop?" Personally, I always hated it ten some years ago when it first came out. However, now when I hear it - for some reason I kinda like. boxed

I also think there is something to be said for the simple-but profound lyrics in the verses. Despite the cheesy chorus, it has something to say.

Thoughts?

a Hanson thread?

Liked it then, like it now. It's a cute song and they actually play instruments.

The best Hanson song ever is This Time Around IMO

The song has meaningful lyrics that I never understood when hearing it. I had to read them

When this song first came out, I was at an amusement park, and every line I stood in, this was blaring from every speaker in every single line I stood in. I hated it for a week or so, the next thing I new it was playing over and over in my head, and I was one heartbeat away from buying the single when I snapped out of it and 'poured out the koolaid.'
Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

The song is cute, and deeper than you'd excpet. I think the tune just got as much hate as it did when it came out because it was so pervasive. But, such as radio is these days...

Yeah that album is really great. I was 8 at the time they came out and was a diehard obsessive completely in love with Taylor so my judgement was skewed back then, but pulling it out just recently I realised it really is good.

You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You go through all the pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast
Oh yeah
And they're gone so fast, yeah
Oh
So hold on the ones who really care
In the end they'll be the only ones there
And when you get old and start losing your hair
Tell me who will still care
Can you tell me who will still care?
Oh care

love headbang

Its the lyrics that drew me in.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.
