The amount of times you need to edit a two sentence post disturbs me Mr Sdldawn.

I no longer need to go back to the Niggy thread as I already OWNed your ass over there. And I've just done the same here.

wow, You honestly need a life, and it's really really apparent that I must have hit a nerve with you..

Back on topic, does the silverback sound any different than early release?
I have it but have not opened it up yet. That's my treat for later. cool

Sorry, that's one of the most pretgentious answers I ever got.

You mean pretentious? yes, I said that for a reason.. because i'm sure that is about as far as it got for McCartney. He took one day with each of these songs randomly picked out words from poetry and connected them with a few of his own words. and McCartney loves talking about birds..

The end

lol yeah, try to avoid the static noise of stalkers on here...

-- anyway The sound isn't any different, but all the mp3's that were flying around didn't meet the true quality requirments this album deserves. However, I just read that there is a 7 song bonus disk that is with the deluxe version. Hopefully that will surface soon.

Thanks.

This is cool news although I wish they would release this in 5.1 surround sound. This album begs to be heard in 5.1. So many textures which 5.1 would expose to dramatic effect. If done correctly.

I completely agree. The textures are lush on this album. I even dig the bonus minute of sounds with paul talking backwards.

I hope he ventures back to a form like this one more time..

I haven't heard an album it quite awhile that moves me like this.
Only complaint is Paul sounds so sad or melancholy vocally. He's 66/67, wow!
I'm happy he is still making quality, forward looking music. But, as far as I'm concerned, he's just doing what he always has. cool

What is your favorites?

Albums?
Most of his 70's stuff. I really like Back to the Egg for some reason. And I like McCartney II. I know most do not. Oh well.
Not a big of 80's stuff or early 90's.
But Chaos, MAF and now EA are top notch.
EA being my absolute favorite. It seriously takes you on journey from start to finish. Good albums do that. IMO

yeah

This is from an earlier post. Still holds true.
Two Magpies: an instant classic.
Traveling Light: great ethereal stuff.
Highway: a nod to classic Beatles songs like Drive My Car and Taxman.
Lifelong Passion: As close to a Sting or Peter Gabriel type song than I've ever heard Macca do.
And pretty much the last 3 tracks as they represent the experimental instrumental stuff I like.
Great way to end the album. Feels like you've taken a journey. And a peaceful one at that.
I'll add Is this Love also.

If anyone hasn't heard the album "Rushes" by Paul's fireman series.. I highly recommend it. You don't hear vocals hardly, but it's experimental perfection.
