That's kind of how they promoted the last project. She "officially" released one at a time, but they had radio playing Upgrade U, Get Me Bodied, Ring The Alarm and Deja Vu all at the same time.

I don't think it will be excellent like B'Day was. To me, Beyonce already peaked and is just trying to be everywhere once again to recreate what's been done already

I like If I Were a Boy, but I'll have to hear more singles before supporting the project.

nod Of course it would. This is just a cheap marketing gimmick. She's trying to make it seem like this is some big, important, groundbreaking project....her own 'SITKOL'.

I have to agree with this. I feel about it the same way. I am not saying the girl hasn´t got a talent, but her music is lame, the music videos are mostly boring just showing of her body with some crazy dancing. I do like some of her songs like Deja Vu, totally love that one but the rest always dissapoints me.

She's trying to play "catch-up" real bad. Artists from the 80's and early 90's would have many hit songs off of just one album. Now you'd be lucky to have four. B-day was a disappointment since she only got the one #1 when she was striving for more to top the charts. Get them songs out girl as fast as you can! eek

She made up for the lack in sales by releasing it 3 different times.

plit personality for new Beyoncé album
Oct 15, 2008, 08:57 AM | by Chris Willman

Details about Beyoncé’s upcoming album, due in stores Nov. 18, have been hard to come by until now. But yesterday, the singer's father, Matthew Knowles, unveiled the complete tracklisting for members of the press in Hollywood, and even played a few minutes of each song and afforded details about promotional plans. First, it’s a 17-song double-album. However, if the economy has you looking to save a few bucks, you can instead buy a condensed 11-song single-CD version; both editions will go on sale the same day.

Oh good lord! disbelief All of this smacks of desperation on her part. Guess she really wants to be an icon.
Psssst! Hey Beyonce! You wanna be an icon/legend? Here's a word of advice: Icons always let the general public put them in demand, they dont demand that the public pay attention to them. Icons do not oversaturate the market with themselves or their products. To put it simply, icons do not work hard to become labeled as an "icon". wink Going the overexposure route will not get you to Icon status--it will get you to the "I'm sick of you go sit yourself down and please dont come back for at least a good 10-12 years" status. Just sayin.

rolleyes

What year are you living in exactly?

"Girl, stop workin' so hard and get back in the kitchen! Why aren't you pregnant yet? I want some grandkids before I die!!!"

If Jay and Bey can last 7 years BEFORE marriage with touring, promo, movies etc I'm pretty sure they'll be okay for the next 7 years.

Geez, just get off her back, people! If she wants to work hard there's nothing you can do about it. Don't click on her threads, don't listen to her songs, don't go to her movies, IGNORE it.

And what year are u living in? Obviously u in a fantasy world. I never said I didn't like her, I never said she not talented, that is if u can read. I said she is OVEREXPOSED!!! And no her ass can't act!!! I'm not the only who has noticed lol and last I checked I can click on any thread I want and give opinion, negative or positive, so if u can't handle it, then oh well that's your damn problem. Its a free fucking country last I checked. U need a reality check.

I know you never said she was untalented. Quote me where I said that. Re-read what I wrote, you got the complete wrong idea. As usual.

.. or does her father like the sixties? and honestly, she was better off doing 'The Vanessa Williams' story than Etta James.. was Etta James her father's idea too?
