I just put this on my MP3 player. I was thinking about songs I like but albums I don't have. Is the album worth looking into?

I wish the rest of the album had been as good as this song If you will, so will I

That song is still the joint. I remember summer of '93 in L.A. (Baldwin Hills) and me and my best friend and his chick were chillin' at my girl's parent's house by the pool on a balmy night listening to their live concert being simulcasted on The Beat - That was some cool ass shit. It was like we were high without even lighting up. DPs were the shit. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

I remember the first time my brother and I saw the video, we were laughing at their style. It just seemed off. But the joke was on us. It was the joint. As a matter of fact, the whole album, Reachin', was that illness, including "Pacifics," "Appointment at the Fat Clinic," and my favorite, the Aural G Ride Remix of "Where I'm From." But it was their followup, Blowout Comb, that is their masterpiece. It was a work of genius: the beats, the rhymes, the vibe, all took a step forward. One example: this undisputed hip-bop BANGER. Y'all got me started on the DPs. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

my guess is you won't be disappointed. it's the only hip-hop record that actually sounds better on vinyl. after all is said and done, IMHO, it's the best hip-hop album of 1994, which is a monumental statement considering that that year may be the greatest one in hip-hop history. Yes it is... and so is their second CD, "Blowout Comb", which is my favorite. They recorded their first CD in Base Hit studios that was located in the building where I used to work. One day, I saw one of the guys in the elevators and we started talking. To make a long story short, I did not realize that the guy that I was talking to was a part of the group. It was not until the CD came out that I saw the guy on the cover. I was like, "Oh, Shit....That's him!!" BLOWOUT COMB!!!!! It's been the only thing in my upstairs CD player since I moved into my new house! (5 months ago) _ Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

straight New York-ed me . . . Yep. This came out when I was still an underclassman in college. There were alot of New York cats on campus at the time, and it was from them I'd heard anything about an East Coast vs. West Coast rap thing. One guy even did a speech on it for Communications class. I thought they were just being uppity at the time. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!
